Hi.

I recorded radio with ports/audio/wavplay(into wav file).
But sometime jumpiness (20 times in 30min)

I set ``rtprio 0'' (/usr/sbin/trprio), but is have only a small
effect(5-10 times n 30min).

Please let me know how could I solve this problem.

[System]
FreeBSD-8-stable/amd64
Athlon(tm) Processor 1640B(2.7GHz)
(This system is private mail/web server..)

[Sound card]
USB Audio

FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm: 64bit 2009061500/amd64)
Installed devices:
pcm1: <USB audio> at ? kld snd_uaudio [MPSAFE] (1p:1v/1r:1v channels duplex)

dev.pcm.1.buffersize: 0

Cheers.

Is the problem the same in 9-current?

What is the sample rate?

Have you tried recording with sox ?

Hi.

I use 8-stable and uaudio.c rev.65 in perforce.

At that time, I recorded to zfs file system.
I change recorded file system to ufs2 file system.
Currently jumpness problem was solved.

I will check some customize parameters for zfs.
